Empowering Young Athletes: D59 Little League Softball and the Growth of Girl Players in 2026

What a season. Our softball players showed up, worked hard, and had a blast doing it. From first-timers to returning players, the girls built their skills, leaned on their teammates, and made it a season to remember.

Little League Softball participation is up about 25% nationally since 2019, and we're glad to be part of that growth.

A big thank you to the coaches, volunteers, and families who made it happen, from assistant coaches and scorekeepers to the snack crews and team sponsors. Your time and support gave every girl a place to play, improve, and belong.
